Customers who depend on Golden State Water Co. are once more spitting mad about the company's plans to raise rates - this time by about 40 percent within two years.
The private, for-profit company, a subsidiary of American States Water Co., already won approval from the state Public Utilities Commission to raise rates by 20.7 percent in 2011-12. Now the company is asking to raise rates another 20 percent or so in 2013.See the full content of this document
