An Ontario man received a star on the walk of fame not for a stellar performance in the latest Hollywood blockbuster, but for a leading role in his community.
On June 9, the Ontario Police Department rolled out the red carpet for five city government volunteers that were nominated to receive a bronze star on the city's Volunteer Walk of Fame between city hall and the senior center. The star for William "Bill" Finch, a volunteer police chaplain, will join the other 11 stars on the walkway implemented by the police department and city council in 1994.See the full content of this document
