LA VERNE - An associate professor of writing at the University of La Verne has received a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts in recognition of his fiction. The grant carries a $25,000 prize.
Sean Bernard received word of the prestigious award last month. He's one of only 40 grant recipients out of 1,179 applicants, and the only winner from Southern California.See the full content of this document
