Yes, the "I's" seem to win most elections. But, what does the "I" stand for? You think it might stand for "Incumbent," but it could mean Ineffectual, Inept, In-the-dark, Incompetent or Insincere.

However, it means In-office. It's that politician who won the last election and is currently in office. It's also the politician who previously made you every promise you ever wanted to hear in the last election.
