SAN FRANCISCO - Contra Costa County must take in convicted sex offender Cary Verse after officials find him a place to live there, a judge ruled Thursday.
Contra Costa Superior Court Judge John Minney's decision was shaped by a new state law - signed by Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger - requiring that sexually violent predators be sent back to the county of last residence before their incarceration.See the full content of this document
