POMONA - An undercover operation targeting prostitution in Pomona netted 46 "johns" and nine prostitutes over an eight-hour period Thursday.

The operation was conducted by the Pomona Police Department with assistance from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Vice Team, according to a police statement. The sting was carried out from 1 to 9 p.m.
