For the past month, 18 employees from the McCarthy Building Companies Inc. dedicated their spare time to build a playhouse for some of the youngest guests at the Loma Linda Ronald McDonald House.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held Dec. 15 for the 8-feet by 8- feet playhouse. The playhouse is complete with a fireplace, a portrait of Ronald McDonald, a chalkboard, and an interactive paper doll activity for the young patients.
