Phil Jackson was "not entirely" surprised by the sexual assault charge brought against Kobe Bryant last summer and described his departure as Lakers coach in June as a "coup," according to Jackson's new book chronicling the 2003-04 season.
Although he is short on elaboration for both claims in "The Last Season," Jackson also writes that the defining characteristic of Bryant's childhood was anger and that the coach had "joined the ranks of authority figures daring to question his conduct."See the full content of this document
