Summary


Attorney John C. Hueston's report on corruption, cronyism and fraud in the Assessor's Office has revealed widespread misuse of public resources for personal and political gain by former Assessor Bill Postmus and many of his top executives.

On the day the report was released, San Bernardino County's Board of Supervisors sued Postmus and a handful of others to reclaim squandered tax dollars and, perhaps, to show that in San Bernardino County, there is zero tolerance for corruption.
