Summary
We have massive problems in our neighborhoods these days. Despite the laws intended to make life equitable and fair, we have neighbors who believe they are above the law. On my street in particular, one neighbor decides he doesn't have to obey the law. He parks his big rig trucks in front of his house, clearly a violation of Ontario Civic Code; he runs a truck maintenance service out of his house, also clearly in violation of the code; and he parks a fifth-wheel travel trailer in front of his house blocking mail boxes and impeding access to our street.
This is an example of the insolence and disrespect that is so very prevalent these days. The laws and codes are here to protect those of us like myself, who are law-abiding citizens of Ontario, who desire only serenity in our neighborhoods without the violations of our right to "quiet enjoyment." I have notified the Ontario Police Department and Ontario Code Enforcement on numerous occasions to resolve these issues to no avail.
