[ Local Woman Will Have Art Shown in Italy ]

Summary

Luise Andersen has twice had drawings and paintings selected for posting on the "absolute art" Internet site. Now she has earned a new honor. Marcello Cazzaniga, art director of Camaver Kunsthaus, a European art organization, chose to exhibit her paintings in the medieval Visconti Tower in Lecco, in northern Italy, as part of the "Seven Ancient Palaces" exhibit. Dr.Carlo M. Cerroni, president of Camaver, assured her of personal attention while she is there. The 1650 tower is part of the Italian national museum system.

Andersen left last week to take part in the exhibition, as well as visit family in her native Germany. She is a long time stalwart of Fontana Art Association, currently honored as Artist of the Month. A sampling of her works, some signed"Mignon," her playful alter ego, hangs in the front window at the Art Center.
