Two local schools recently joined in a nationwide Seuss-a- bration marking the 102nd birthday of late literary legend Theodor Geisel, better known as Dr. Seuss.
On March 2 Ranch View and Berlyn elementary schools in Ontario participated in Read Across America, which began as a one-day event in 1998 when the National Education Association decided to promote reading on Dr. Seuss' birthday each year.
