Local Schools Participate in Suess-a-Bration

Summary


Two local schools recently joined in a nationwide Seuss-a- bration marking the 102nd birthday of late literary legend Theodor Geisel, better known as Dr. Seuss.

On March 2 Ranch View and Berlyn elementary schools in Ontario participated in Read Across America, which began as a one-day event in 1998 when the National Education Association decided to promote reading on Dr. Seuss' birthday each year. The event has grown to become the nation's largest reading celebration ever.
