With rare exceptions, voters do nothing about politicians who betray their interests, and politicians know this very well. So do we. But it doesn t hurt to point out some of the treacheries.

A current example is Assembly Bill 1206, which is being pushed through the Legislature by police unions. It already has been approved by the Assembly, and if it becomes law it would force cities and counties to adopt one of the bad features of the state s notoriously bad contract with the prison guards union.
