State Sen. Bob Dutton, D-Rancho Cucamonga, kicked off the OperationChristmas for Our Troops II campaign this week with a holiday open house athis Rancho Cucamonga district office.

The statewide, bipartisan program collects toys for the children ofdeployed soldiers, and DVDs and CDs for troops serving overseas. Thecampaign will continue through Dec. 21. Dutton is asking residents to dropoff a new or used DVD or CD or a new unwrapped toy at his district office,at 8577 Haven Ave., Suite 210, Rancho Cucamonga.
