LA VERNE - Sheriff's investigators on Wednesday identified a shoplifting suspect who was shot by a police officer in a bank parking lot.
Ricky Young, 50, of Pomona was treated for a gunshot wound to his leg at Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center and then transferred to the Twin Towers Correctional Facility for further treatment.
