Harvey Mudd College' Parcel Map Ok Stirs Concern

Summary

CLAREMONT - The approval of Harvey Mudd College's parcel map has caused some students, faculty and oth ers to become upset that a field station used for student research could be turned into a parking lot or something else. Resident Michael John Keenan, who brought forth a previous appeal of the parcel map, has vowed he would get a lawyer and sue to protect the Robert J. Bernard Biological Field Station.

"I have three different law yers I need to get in touch with," Keenan said. "All I know for sure is I got to get a (legal) summons issued within 90 days. Otherwise nothing is going to happen. I plan on rais ing funds (for the legal battle) at the (Claremont) farmers market."
