Golf Tournament to Raise Funds for San Dimas Veterans Memorial

Summary


The San Dimas H.E.R.O.E.S. Project's first golf tournament has three priorities: to raise funds for the San Dimas Veterans Memorial Monument, to honor a man who always cared for community and to increase appreciative awareness of soldiers' service and sacrifices.

Former San Dimas mayor and retired Los Angeles County Superior Court judge Tom Nuss, event coordinator; Gary Enderle, co-founder of the local Helping Establish a Remembrance Of Every Serviceperson Project; and Tom Lee, the son succeeding the late Dal Lee as general manager of the family-owned Via Verde Country Club and Golf Course, hope all three goals will be achieved at the Sept. 12 golf tournament.
