RANCHO CUCAMONGA - One of Cucamonga's early leaders, who served nearly three decades as Cucamonga's 17th postmaster, has died.

Anton Blatnick, 91, had his hands in organizing multiple local groups and events long before the city's incorporation joined the communities of Cucamonga, Alta Loma and Etiwanda. Blatnick helped coordinate the first Grape Festival, which the city continues to celebrate.
