UPLAND - A fire tore through the back bedroom of an Upland home early Tuesday, disrupting a quiet neighborhood and injuring two senior citizens one critically and a firefighter.
The home's owner, identified by neighbors as 77-year-old Rodney Jones, apparently noticed the fire inside the bedroom and dialed 911 from his kitchen about 9:25 a.m. Jones collapsed on the floor and was treated on his lawn before being taken to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center, said Doug Davisson, deputy fire marshal with the Upland Fire Department.See the full content of this document
