Summary


FONTANA ART CENTER FEATURES A TWO-ARTIST DISPLAY of the acrylic paintings of Luise Andersen and the glass works of Glenn Briggs. Expecting to be out of town during the artist reception last Sunday, I checked it out while Briggs was still hanging his glass. Unfortunately, that display came down after the reception. If you missed it before then, you missed it. Take my word, it was worth seeing.

The gallery provided a busy scene. Rickie Dickerson and Melissa Bossarb painted displays built by Bill Coxon. Briggs hung colorful glass abstractions. Debra Higgs-Stein was telling Art Association president Andersen about her qualifications to teach oil painting. The works she showed proved she knows what she plans to teach. A schedule for her classes remains undecided.
