Delinquent Trash Bills Pick Up in Montclair

Summary


MONTCLAIR - The number of outstanding sewer and trash bills has almost tripled over the past three years, the city has reported.

Since August 2007, the city has identified 537 overdue accounts, owing a total of $122,880.61. More than 80 percent of that debt is the responsibility of individual homeowners, said city accounting specialist Janet Kulbeck.
