Summary


ONTARIO'S SOMEWHAT dysfunctional five-person City Council had a decidedly pointless discussion Tuesday on how difficult it should be to raise their pay.

Previously the suggestion was made by Councilman Alan Wapner to require four votes in favor rather than three. Not to be outdone, since the move was probably aimed at him, Mayor Paul Leon said that by golly, it should take five votes out of five. Do I hear six?
