ONTARIO - Miguel Olivas' high school French project was so impressive that it sparked a letter from the offices of the French President Nicolas Sarkozy.

Students are required every year in Marie-Claude Werren's French II class at Colony High School to create a folder about France that includes the history, geography, industry, agriculture, government, climate, holidays and traditions of the country.
