A conservancy board that gave nearly $9 million in state funds to complete Monrovia's 2002 purchase of hillside property from Rep. Gary Miller, R-Brea, won't review the transaction, a state official said Wednesday.
Al Wright, executive director of the Wildlife Conservation Board, said the contents of a July 31, 2002, letter from Monrovia's mayor to Miller did not violate the terms of the WCB's grant agreement with the city. Miller's attorney released the letter Tuesday.See the full content of this document
