Board Won't Review Rep. Miller's Land Deal

A conservancy board that gave nearly $9 million in state funds to complete Monrovia's 2002 purchase of hillside property from Rep. Gary Miller, R-Brea, won't review the transaction, a state official said Wednesday.

Al Wright, executive director of the Wildlife Conservation Board, said the contents of a July 31, 2002, letter from Monrovia's mayor to Miller did not violate the terms of the WCB's grant agreement with the city. Miller's attorney released the letter Tuesday.
